| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Put together by Abba's own Benny Andersson and Bjoern Ulvaeus, Mamma Mia! manages to cram over 20 of the Swedish supergroup's songs into a threadbare plot. It goes a little like this: Young Sophie is getting married and she's trying to identify which of three men is her father. That's about it. Wisely, the musical doesn't mess around with the songs, save for the insertion of some dialogue or for having some of them performed by a man (it works amazingly well). Abba fans will jump on this import of the London production, but traditional fans of musical theater should consider it as well. After all, Andersson and Ulvaeus's songs have always felt as if they were more than isolated pop gems and actually belonged to a longer narrative. --Elisabeth Vincentelli

Relive the Magic October 18, 2008 If you've only seen the movie version of Mamma Mia, you're in for a treat, as this recording features 24 songs (much more than was featured in the film) all sung beautifully by the 1999 London cast.
Disappointed October 17, 2008 I was very disappointed when I first played the CD because I realized that I had ordered the wrong CD. It is the English version rather than the movie version. i find it to be annoying. I didn't think that I could exchange it so I am stuck. Next time I will read the fine print more carefully.
MaMa Mia October 8, 2008 Product was in good shape and arrived promptly. However, I did not care for the CD.
Mamma Mia! Great Fun October 2, 2008 Just a quick note to say how enjoyable this Broadway soundtrack is with its memorable and catchy tunes! Lots of music here that is not in the movie version, too. Take a listen and enjoy!
Doesn't Get Any Better Than This September 26, 2008 Any one who has enjoyed the movie or the play must have this CD. Great quality and brings a smile to your face!
