Product Description Just as Wall Street is an icon to the investment community, Fortune magazine is one to its readership--the difference being Fortune's diversified reach into the many facets of business. Columns include features on the marketplace, tech movers and shakers, career trends, U.S. politics, and even European business. Readers also look forward to the annually updated Fortune lists, which include the "40 Richest Under 40," "Most Powerful Women," and the "Fortune 500." The Kindle Edition of Fortune contains most articles found in the print edition, but will not include all images and tables. For your convenience, issues are auto-delivered wirelessly to your Kindle at the same time the print edition hits the newsstand.

Awful. Not much else to say September 3, 2008 I give paper fortune a 3-4 out of five stars. The Kindle edition is horrible, a complete waste of time. You get a few of the main articles, but most of the rest of what shows up turns out to be tiny little bits of junk: Text boxes and pullout-garbage (I used to work in the magazine world) that is essentially page filler in the printed editions. I thought this was so cheap it would have to be worthwhile, but unless they include more meat, this is a total waste of money. Better to get the WSJ or Financial Times.
Good Deal July 1, 2008 Fortune is a magazine I have found enjoyable in print. The KINDLE version is up to par as far as the articles and I'm happy to have it in a nice clutter free locale ready to read whenever I want!
A terribly overrated magazine June 20, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The articles are of extremely low quality. The column writers may have degrees in journalism but understand absolutely nothing in the finance.
Fortune could be an OK source for news (for that purpose, isn't Business Week better?). If you are looking for insights, you won't find any.
Disappointing in too many ways. June 13, 2008 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
The trial issue I read was focused too much toward older readers who are preparing for retirement. I realize most of their readers fit into that age group, but the subject really doesn't appeal to anyone else. As far as the articles themselves go, I found them to be lacking in substance. There's many other publications out there that will give you better advice on retirement. It seemed like the writers attempted to make up for this by injecting a heavy dose of humor into their articles, unfortunately the jokes often fell well short of their mark. The kindle edition includes absolutely no images other than the fortune logo. This is very annoying because many of the articles refer to charts and images which are not displayed.
I'm glad I was allowed to review a trial issue before buying, because this is one magazine I'll definitely not be subscribing to.
Excellent Source of Business Information February 27, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I highly recommend Fortune for insightful business articles about companies, people, and markets. This combined with the Wall Street Journal gives you a great wealth of information and all without ads, walking to the mailbox or getting ink on your hands. Saves all that paper and trees too. Be green - read on a Kindle !
Thanks Amazon and Fortune !
