I recently got stuck with a laptop that has only 2 usb ports and I travel for work every week. I abosulutely love this tiny little thing! Very convenient to carry and doesnt need any extra peices for power. Has a short convenient cable length that doensnt get entangled!

So far, I am pleased with this item. It is compact and I have had no problems so far. I liked it well enough that I purchased two additional USB Hubs for each of two laptops that may be on the road at any time. Seems OK! I am pleased with this item and recommend it to others needing additional USB ports.

I was happy to get this small hub for travel... but was disappointed after trying it. Sometimes it works, and sometimes not. Definitely did not like my USB mouse
for my laptop. I will not be using it, and consider that a waste. There are other Belkin hubs out there - do not buy this one. Not worth the hassle of returning it
to Amazon.

I ordered this because one of the USB ports on my HP laptop has become unreliable. When my external hard drive is plugged into it, it goes in and out, with my computer recognizing, the not recognizing it.
Both of my external hard drives get their power via the USB, neither has any other plug. Those HDs, as well as my wireless mouse/keyboard and wacom pen touch tablet worked with this.
It's exactly what I wanted, absolutely no set up, just plug in and it's ready to use. Awesome item.
